Manufacture Your Day by EXPLORING THIS SIMPLE SECRET OF CHANGE

Isn’t this so true?
We want things to change. We want other people to change. We want circumstances to change BUT it is just so much easier to complain than doing something about it.
Mark Twain used to say, ” The only person who likes change is a wet baby.”
Making a change can be overwhelming. It can be scary. Making a change means uncertainty. If you have to change things about yourself, it sounds like there is something wrong with you.
That’s why I use a different method. I avoid saying that I have to change something about myself or in my business. Instead, I like to focus on making tiny but incremental improvements.
This is another mental strategy of mine that makes change so much easier to handle. Essentially it means the same thing but you can give it a different meaning.
This reminds me of the saying, “No matter how slow you go, you’re still lapping everyone on the couch.”
Today I encourage you to…
- be honest with yourself about your improvement opportunities
- focus on tiny improvements instead of big changes
- have fun along the way while working on yourself
Works for me. I guarantee it will work for you too!
WHAT IF this is the solution that will help you achieve different, but most importantly, better results?
Food for Thought:
“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” ― Rumi
