Mindful Manufacturing Stress Management

Do you think it is time to become more health conscious?

Have you noticed how much anxiety and stress there is in the world, especially before the holidays?

A friend of mine works in the mall and she told me how impatient, frustrated, and rude many people are. Of course, there is a reason for everything but would you agree that our world needs quite the opposite?

I am not talking about all the big problems in the world. I am talking about your world.

How can you make YOUR world better?

People are stressed about so many things and if they aren’t effective in managing their stressors, it will really impact their health and well-being and it will also impact the health of the company they work for.

Why?

What do you think how productivity is affected if a person’s mind is running in circles?

You may feel stressed if…

  • You are under a lot of pressure
  • News is a part of your morning and bedtime routine
  • Big changes are on the horizon
  • There are never-ending financial problems
  • You have health challenges
  • Conflict in your personal and professional life is taking over
  • You sweat all the small stuff and simply worry too much
  • Your focus is on all the things that are outside of your control
  • Don’t have enough work-life balance
  • Experience discrimination, hate, or abuse
  • You have responsibilities that you find overwhelming
  • Are going through a period of uncertainty

Here are 3 very simple solutions that will make you almost immediately feel better about any challenge you may have and help you to put it in perspective.

  1. Breathing: Be mindful and use calming breathing techniques
  2. Move: Go for a walk or exercise
  3. Gratefulness: Write a list of all the things you can be grateful for

There is always someone who has it worse than you.

When I have a terrible day, I always remember that and do my best to evaluate what I give my attention to.

Even if none of us can do something about world peace, how about getting closer to inner peace?
