Manufacture Your Day by UNDERSTANDING THE MEANING OF “FLAWSOME”

I think it has been a while since I have told you that you’re awesome, and I believe it is important that you hear that fairly regularly. We all have flaws and that’s o.k. It’s human.
Did you know that awesomeness is contagious?
Chances are that if you are the boss, nobody ever tells you and if you are an employee, nobody tells you either.
Why not?
Many people I meet in manufacturing companies are overworked and underappreciated.
How can anyone think that such employees will be at their best? They feel unrecognized, helpless, and hopeless. Instead of becoming proactive to make things better, they build resentment and become bitter.
Why do people go to a job day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, in which they work hard and long hours, and they tolerate that nobody seems to see their value?
Self-worth and self-confidence are important. If you are someone whose focus is mainly on business results, I can tell you that the self-worth of a person is directly correlated with the net worth of the company. Ouch.
What would it take to make it part of your day to recognize and appreciate the people around you?
How hard can it be?
I want you to tell your…
- spouse that he/she is awesome and why!
- children that they are awesome and why!
- friends and neighbours that they are awesome and why!
- boss that he/she is awesome if he/she has earned the right to hear it.
- employees more often that they are awesome and why!
- co-workers that they are awesome and why!
That’s how you become a confidence booster.
Embrace being “flawsome” as long as it doesn’t stop you from striving for your personal best. You’re awesome, no matter what.
