Manufacture Your Day by SHOWING UP NO MATTER WHAT
If you are a regular reader of my daily messages, you are interested in your personal self-development and this puts you ahead of the crowd. Bravo!
Our work environments in the manufacturing industry are beyond stressful and if you would like to get more control over your personal and professional life, you will have to become more mindful in your daily interactions with others and your approach to life as a whole. You have to develop a positive “life strategy”.
Everyone deals with difficult situations but it is all about how you respond to them that will determine how well and how fast you bounce back.
Sometimes people tell me that it is easy for me to look at the bright side of things because…
- I have my own business
- I have a lot of luck in my life
- I have time and money
- I am confident
- I have a husband who supports me
- I am a natural when it comes to positivity
I am someone who believes in creating your own luck. These people have absolutely no idea what I’ve been through and they like to convince themselves with countless excuses why this just won’t work for them.
If you are not true to yourself, your whole life will get consumed by excuses.
Not too long ago, there was a point in my life where I lost my job, I was single, and I didn’t even know how to pay my rent next month BUT when you hit rock bottom, there is is only one way to go…. Up. That’s what I tried to tell myself. It was damn difficult to find something good in every day but I kept looking for it.
Here is what I told myself, “Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better.” Seriously, this (and running) was my mental medicine. It helped me to get better instead of bitter.
I want you to do the same. Look for the good in people, look for the opportunity in the problem, look for the possibility in a bad situation, look for the “yes” after you get a “no”.
Get up, dress up and show up at your best possible self. Life will get better. Take it from someone who knows.
Are you ready to walk on sunshine?
