Manufacture Your Day by PRESSING FORWARD
There are times when we have to be strong, not necessarily physically but mentally.
Over the past 16 years I have done things that I never imagined possible. Boy was I wrong. We can do so much more than we give ourselves credit to.
Let me tell you, if I could press forward, so can you.
I really don’t want you to get infected with one of the most horrible “mental diseases” I know – the “destination disease”. There are way too many people who think they “have arrived”.
I don’t want YOU to be one of them and question one day if you could have been a better spouse, a better dad/mom, a better neighbour, a better employee, a better co-worker, a better boss, a better friend, a better citizen, ….. in short a better person.
It takes the willingness to break through your emotional barriers (fear, worry, discomfort) and to learn life’s lessons along the way in order to get to the next level.
Way smarter people than me have figured this out a long time ago, I just modelled their mental and behavioural process, and now share it with you.
Have I mentioned before that I am one of your biggest fans?
Are you interested in some mental reframes when the going gets tough?
– Rejection: Everything that happens in my life, happens in my best interest. True 95% of the time if you manage to believe that. For example, whenever I don’t get a specific client, I look for the positive and I immediately tell myself: “I am not rejected, I am redirected.” (there is a more worthwhile project around the corner that needs my attention).
– Objections and/or roadblocks: They are just signs that I am on the right track and now I have to prove how much I really want it. I focus on being creative, mindful and I do my best to keep a positive attitude even when things don’t go my way.
– Excuses: Join me by moving away from “Excucity” and ditching Plan B – why do you even prepare yourself for the case that things won’t work out? Mind over matter, remember? If you have a plan B, your mind isn’t focused enough to make plan A work. It’s as simple as that.
– Blaming: I have learned to focus more on my internal world than on my external world – the results I have in my life are based on the quality of my thoughts. We cannot see our thoughts and beliefs but we can become more mindful if our thoughts serve us or not. A great example is the wind. You cannot see the wind but you can see its effects. The same is true with our mind.
Don’t you love that stuff?
I know! Me too.
You will love it even more if you experience that this works like a charm when you have your mind work in your favour.
Are you ready?
