Do you know negative people? Do you know difficult people? Can you be negative and difficult at times?

Of course, we all can be. However, negativity can spread in an organization just like a disease if you ignore how people speak and act. Everything starts in the mind with the way we think.

Have you ever noticed that many people out there will do their best to find something negative in every person and every situation? Is this a good way to live life? Why not try to find the good in the bad?

Negative thoughts can become a habit and it is important for you to understand that you cannot get positive results with a negative mind.

Whatever you have or don’t have in your life right now is based on the thoughts you keep thinking.

Do you want to be a stinking thinker?

If everything in your environment seemingly starts to “stink”, it is a warning side to A) change your job or B) change your perspective.

Stinking Thinking:

“This goal is too hard. I might as well forget it. I will never get it right.”

New Thinking:

“This is a big goal and just imagine what person I will become in the process of  working towards it.”

Stinking Thinking:

“There just isn’t enough time. Life moves so fast, I can’t keep up.”

New Thinking:

“Time is always on my side. If it is important, I can make it happen.”

Stinking Thinking:

“The world is an awful place. Everyone is out to get me.”

New Thinking:

“The world is a wonderful place. Wherever I go, I meet friendly people.”

Stinking Thinking:

“I am a failure. I didn’t achieve x and I shouldn’t have done y.”

New Thinking:

“When things don’t work out the first time, I will work harder or try something else until I get where I want to be.”

Can you give yourself a break?

You are human and now you’re aware. Choose your thoughts and choose them wisely.
