Happy Monday! Never give up on yourself and your ability to aim for personal excellence.

Even though it is Monday, you better find a reason to smile. If you haven’t found one, maybe my smile is contagious. Smiling is wonderful for stress management and I can guarantee that you get through everything in life a little bit easier with a smile on your face.

Yesterday I ran the Toronto Half Marathon with positive vibes and a negative split (this means I ran the second half faster than the first one). I was 20th in my age group, out of 113 women but speed is not why I run long distances.

I run for

  • mental strength
  • physical strength and fitness
  • stress management
  • endorphines
  • creativity
  • fun
  • inspiration

While I built my business, running has been my “cheap” therapy. I always say that I wouldn’t have made it in business without going for my regular runs. It’s true. Whenever the going gets tough, I go for a run and find reasons to smile along the way.

Running helps me to sharpen my mind, get super focused and feel good.

Running is my personal miracle drug.

In my work in manufacturing companies I meet so many people who have allowed themselves to get out of shape. That’s what happens. Life gets in the way, excuses are readily available and with that people sacrifice their health and well-being.

Please never give up on yourself. You don’t have to run. You can pick a different form of exercise that excites you. 

It is your obligation to feel good, be good and do good.
