Manufacture Your Day by MANAGING YOUR STRESS EFFECTIVELY
If you know a little bit about me, you must know how passionate I am about being active.
On Monday I went hiking in Austria. Nature, sunshine, good company and a physically challenging tour over 7 hours do the trick for me.
Exercise is known to be one of the best stress management tools and for me it is the best way to recharge my batteries.
If you don’t like to exercise, that’s o.k. Simply get into the habit of going for a walk – alone or with a friend, a family member or your dog.
Tony Robbins has coined the phrase, “Emotion is created by motion.”
In other words, if you feel emotionally drained and stressed, get away from your screen and start moving. I guarantee that you will start feeling better in an instant.
Good examples are:
- walking / hiking
- ping pong
I personally prefer the outdoors in the summer but everyone is different. Find something that fits your needs and/or have the courage to learn something new.
In the grand scheme of things it is important that you look after yourself, especially during stressful times at home or at work.
It’s a given that our mental and physical fitness will build the foundation for the results we will have in our life.
Ready, set, go.
