Manufacture Your Day by MAKING YOUR LIFE COUNT
This is my last message for 2017! Thanks for reading, thanks for sharing and hopefully taking some of my messages to heart.
Please know that it makes me happy when I hear that these messages have an impact on you and your life.
I wish you a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2018!
Today I would like to share a message from one of my connections on LinkedIn. It made me think and reflect, and I hope it does the same for you.
“10 days ago my biz partner and best friend of 25 years fell ill whilst descending from Table Mountain in Cape Town.
Long story short, he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke, which is effectively a brain bleed and has been in hospital for the last 10 days.
Tom is 44 years old, the same as me, fit, healthy, works out most days and gives advice to people about their health and fitness.
This shouldn’t have happened to someone like him but it did.
We don’t know what is around the corner.
We assume that we will make it to old age.
Don’t wait another day to be happy.
Life is precious and very often far too short.
Your health is the most important commodity you will ever possess and knowing that even when healthy it can all be over in a second should be enough drive and motivation to make your life the best it can be.
Don’t stay in a job you hate.
Always wanted to go somewhere but have been waiting for the right time?
Don’t wait until the kids leave University and you retire.
Always wanted to write that book or just try something different with your life?
January 2018 could be a great time to make a move on that.
I certainly hope that you make some bold moves in the New Year.
You don’t have time to waste.”
