Manufacture Your Day by HAVING STAYING POWER
We live in a society of immediate gratification.
People want things right away. They want to take shortcuts. They have no patience to see things through.
I have learned early on that I needed to develop staying power when times are tough, and I had to work at it.
Nothing great in life comes without hard work.
I have been very committed to the manufacturing industry since I started my business. I wished I could bottle my passion and pass it along. While this is not possible, I do hope that I inspire people to strive to be better, mentally stronger and ready to go the distance.
There have been so many people who told me that I am crazy to put all my efforts into the manufacturing industry. I was told that manufacturing in North America would have no chance of survival and that I won’t be able to make a living.
Thankfully I ignored all the well meant advice.
Today the same people tell me that I was lucky. Maybe I am lucky but I am definitely happy that I had the strength and courage to see things through.
How can YOU develop staying power?
- Start with the end in mind – your vision of what can be must be so powerful that giving up is not even an option.
- When times are tough – there must be a better or different way of doing things. Be creative!
- Give it your all at all times – think about it, everything you do has your signature on it. “Attitude” = quality of your energy and “Effort” = quantity of your energy.
- Stay focused on what you want instead of what you want now – it will be worth it.
When you strongly believe in what you’re doing, you will surprise yourself with the results that you will get.
Are you committed to stand in your power?
