One of the greatest stress management tools is exercise.
It has been said that emotion is created by motion. In other words, as soon as you start moving, you will feel better if you have a down day. Walk, run, swim, cycle, dance, ski, snowboard, skate, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, play (table) tennis, squash or racket ball, play a team sport, go to the gym, go to yoga….. It doesn’t matter what you choose but it is important to to find a workout that you love doing.
You will feel better. You will have more energy. You will be able to manage your weight easier. You will lead a more balanced and happier life.
