Manufacture Your Day by EVALUATING YOUR CHOICES
I wrote about this a while ago but it seems so appropriate to send this message out again.
There are so many awesome people I am in touch with on a daily basis and my main goal is to understand where they are coming from. Did you know that people don’t trust you if they understand you? They trust you if you understand them.
The biggest challenge of being a great coach to others is being non-judgmental.
I know that you have a reason to be, think and act a certain way. This is based on your knowledge, past experiences, values and beliefs.
Just make sure that when life knocks you down, you find a way to get back on your feet. It’s all about strengthening your mind. Nobody can define how far you can go but yourself.
When I first started my business I had a difficult time managing myself and my feelings about others. It can still be difficult at times but I have gotten so much better.
Being non-judgmental can be very difficult but it’s always good to remember if we judge people, we limit them.
My goal is to help the people who choose to work with me to see what they may not be able to see YET. It is the most rewarding feeling for me to help them to shift their perspective and be the best they can be.
That’s also YOUR responsibility.
What if you would focus on seeing more in people than they can see in themselves?
Leadership isn’t a matter of the title. Leadership is all about your ability to positively influence other people.
John Quincy Adams said, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”
You totally have it in you. Why not give it a shot?
- encourage, you give courage.
- are polite, you demonstrate respect and what you are all about.
- spread kindness, you will get kindness.
- smile, you make others (and yourself) happy.
- listen, you will get many new insights.
- think good thoughts, and you will feel good.
- have a positive mind, you will get positive results.
- are grateful for what you have, more good things will come to you.
- give, you will get.
- make it all about people, they will look after your numbers.
Next time you think about ROI (return of investment), simply think about Relationships, Outcomes and Improvements.
