Manufacture Your Day by CONSIDERING THE POWER OF “YET”

 In Manufacture Your Day

Manufacturing Leadership Growth Mindset

If you want to start changing your beliefs, you must change how you think and speak.

Here is a mental strategy that has to do with the way we think and speak. Positive communication is important. Words lead to strategies and these days, positive strategies are important.

The word “yet” is one of the most powerful words you can add to your vocabulary.

So many people get discouraged too easily when things don’t work out right away.

Just think about something that you would like to accomplish but maybe fear is holding you back. The word “yet” can stand for hope, mental strength, strategy, positivity and so much more. If you start communicating by adding the word “yet” to your sentences, you will definitely demonstrate a “never give up” kind of attitude.

We have to teach our children and the people around us that there is a lot of power in the word “yet”.

This little word changes a sentence, and it certainly changes the way how we can feel about something.

If someone asks you a question, you can also answer with “not yet”.

Have you found a solution to this problem? Not yet but I will.

Can you see how powerful this response will be?

This is a mentally affirmative statement because you expect it to happen. Hoping for something is great but expecting it is far more powerful.

Next time you want to say, “I can’t do this,” make sure to add the word “yet”.

Food for Thought:

Have you ever given up too easily on your dreams or goals?

“According to Dr. Carol Dweck, there are 2 mindsets: fixed and growth. A fixed mindset asserts that intelligence is fixed at birth, is unchangeable, and is not greatly influenced by nature or nurture. A growth mindset embraces the concept of neuroplasticity and recognizes that through effort, we change, grow, and achieve. ” Article Excerpt Credit: Healthworks Fitness
