Manufacture Your Day by BEING AWARE WHAT YOU FOCUS ON
What do you focus on?
- Possibility, Positivity and Prosperity or
- Fearful Thoughts, Problems and Complaints
I don’t know about you, but it is very easy to think one fearful thought, then another one and another one, and all of a sudden these thoughts have robbed all of your energy and productivity.
What do you do when you get paralyzed by this scarcity mentality? So many people at work put on a facade because they feel that they have to be someone that they are not. This is very sad because only authentic people can be at their very best.
Have you ever thought that you can transform fear by focusing on something else?
As someone who always tries to find the positive in every situation, I have discovered that fear isn’t necessarily a bad thing and here is why.
1. Fear Keeps You Alert and Alive
I think fear heightens our senses. It protects us from danger and it makes you realize that if you manage your fear well, you can escape the prison of your mind. It is our limiting beliefs that hold us back to be at our best. There will always be times when we feel fearful but that’s when it becomes important to shift our focus.
2. Fear Helps You to “Break Up” with Routine
Are you a routine person? I believe certain routines are great, especially if they help us to form good habits. On the other hand, a routine can stifle mental flexibility by getting stuck in doing the same thing over and over again without getting the desired results. Success leaves clues. If the things you are doing work well for you and your results, keep doing them. If not, push yourself out of your comfort zone and do something different.
3. Fear Activates Your Inner Champion
I could tell you a story or two about how fear can hold you back. However, if you know that on the other side of fear, is everything you have dreamed about, it will make it easier for you to keep going. At least, this is how it was for me. Mental strength is developed during difficult times and I have much appreciation for that.
If you focus on the good, you will see more of it.
