Manufacture Your Day by LEARNING LIFE LESSONS

No regrets in life. Just lessons learned.
It has already been 20 years since I moved to Canada. It has been a journey filled with learning so many new things, hardships, tears, joy and happiness. Every stage of my life served its purpose and I am glad that I was able to learn from my tough times and that I could appreciate the good ones.
From my past experience, I know that things have always worked out in my favour. As long as I don’t stress over it, it serves me well.
Today I would like to share 3 life lessons that may benefit you as well:
1) In order to get what you want, you have to know what you want:
Did you know that most people know what they don’t want, don’t like, and don’t have? This is also how they communicate.
It is very tempting to complain all day and at times I am one of these people. However, I am VERY aware when I fall into this trap and shift my attitude as fast as I possibly can.
70% of people communicate what they want to “get away from” and only 30% of people communicate in terms of what they want to “move towards”.
The energy you create is important. Energy flows where your attention goes.
If you think life happens to you, you become a victim. How you think will influence how you speak and how you act, which in return impacts your results.
2) If you have a Plan A, stop talking about Plan B:
Did you know that people who make a Plan B are not committed to Plan A?
Since I started my business I have never made a Plan B. Back in 2020, Covid19 has provided the perfect opportunity to review my business model but my plan has never ever changed.
To be clear, I don’t want you to have a fallback plan. I can guarantee that the likelihood of achieving your ultimate goal will decrease.
Why would you give yourself permission to fail?
3) Optimism is all you need:
Did you know that you cannot bring positive results with a negative mind?
I have to admit that I am a hopeless optimist but even optimists think negatively at times, and that’s o.k. There are definitely bad days but if you look for it, you will find something good in every day.
Learning to have a more optimistic outlook makes it easier to overcome roadblocks and your life will become more enjoyable because you experience it differently.
In short, luck can only take you this far, it will be your ability to learn from your mistakes that will take you further.
Food for Thought:
If we have to deal with similar situations over and over again, we haven’t learned the lesson.
