Happy Monday!

I don’t know about you but I had times in my life where I had to dig deep to think happy thoughts. 

Sometimes life is tough. Life is hard. Life is unfair. Life is unbearable. Life doesn’t seem to make sense. Life doesn’t give us what we think we deserve. Life is… life.

I have been there and I have gone through every emotional state you can even imagine. 

My friends who I know for years and who I cycle and run with could tell you how I broke down in tears during a run or a bike ride when I didn’t know what to do anymore.  

Tears always help (also true for men). They clean us from the inside out. I always felt better afterwards.

If you think life is tough, please know that the only thing that will help you to turn your life around is by thinking happy thoughts. 

Change doesn’t happen by changing outside circumstances. Change happens when we shift our focus and our perspective. 

That’s of course easier said than done, especially when you’re going through a a difficult time in your life. 

There are so many people who think they have no control over their life, yet they do. 

Take this from someone who knows. 

When you feel down, do your best to shift your focus and find something that makes you feel better. 

It’s all about thinking happy thoughts.
