Happy Monday! 

Have you ever thought about that your energy is EVERYTHING? The key is to be aware that how you think, how you walk, how you talk, how you interact with others will influence the outcome of the all the things that you want to achieve. 

There are times when my energy sucks. If things don’t go my way, I can be really grumpy and I don’t feel good. Sometimes people think that I am always positive and happy, and nothing could be further from the truth. Happiness and positivity take work, a lot of work. 

If I cannot control a situation, I let it go as fast as I can and shift my perspective. 

Why should I waste my energy on something that I cannot change? 

If it is something that is within my influence, I go for a run or a walk to clear my head so that I can tackle the challenge. 

I am practising this important skill for more than 10 years and I am happy to say that I am getting better and better. Maybe that’s also an age thing. 

As for you, I don’t want you to have a heart attack, a stroke or a burnout syndrome. In what areas of your life do you have to become more aware how you invest your mental energy? 

Worth thinking about. Awareness is the first step.
