Manufacture Your Day by Challenging Yourself

Toronto Marathon (42.2 km) – done  ✔

This was definitely not my fastest marathon (4 hours 18 minutes) and the last 7 km hurt like hell but you always learn something about yourself. I trained really hard all winter running outside in the Canadian winter but 4 weeks ago I developed a groin injury and I had to take it easy with my training. Sometimes you have a plan but if things change, you have to be flexible in your approach. I adjusted my finishing time goal and I finished. I can definitely say that every long distance race is a battle with yourself and your mind but it helps you to get stronger.

There is this saying, “No matter how slow you go, you are still lapping everybody on the couch.”

Today is Monday and I challenge you to do something that scares you.
If you conquer the challenge, you will think, “What else is possible?”

Don’t just live life day by day, make a plan and execute your plan. I totally believe in YOU.
